Maria Prince

ESG Leader, Global Procurement, DuPont

Maria is an accomplished professional with over 25 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Product Development, Supplier Diversity, Sustainability and Supply Chain, working for well-known companies like Walmart, PepsiCo, Sysco Foods, Academy Sports & Outdoors and LBrands.

Maria, as the Global Procurement ESG Leader, oversees the team responsible for the company’s supplier diversity program, supplier sustainability initiatives, and supply chain risk strategy for the global supply chain.

Prior to joining DuPont, Prince served as vice president of the NMSDC Academy for the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), where she led programs for corporate members and minority-owned business enterprises (MBEs). NMSDC is the largest organization certifying MBEs and dedicated to the development and growth of MBEs collaborating with member corporations to provide business opportunities, development, and access to capital.

Prince earned a Bachelor of Science and MBA from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas. She has received numerous awards and has been recognized for her work developing minority and women-owned businesses. Her most recent award was being named a top 25 Diversity Change Leader by Diversity Plus magazine. She has served on several non-profit boards and currently serves on the Tuck Business School Diversity Board at Dartmouth College and is a guest lecturer, Global Diversity Advisory Council for the World Trade Center of Philadelphia, member of Procurement 50 leaders and Co-Chairs the Women’s Chemical Industry Group.

She has been a member of the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) for over 20 years.  She is a frequent guest speaker and panelist on the topics of ESG, DE&I, Supplier Diversity and Strategic Sourcing.
