Dr. Berkley Baker helps organizations move from supplier access to supplier impact by aligning innovation, stakeholder value, and business performance.

As Founder and CEO of CIMI Solutions and the creator of the CFOSS™ Framework and Alignment-to-Performance Model, Dr. Baker works at the intersection of supplier innovation, enterprise value creation, and adoption strategy. His work helps corporations, supplier development organizations, and growth-oriented businesses move from introductions to outcomes by creating alignment around Core, Financial, Operational, Strategic, and Social value. His work is increasingly focused on helping organizations demonstrate the enterprise value of supplier innovation, at a moment when the business case has never mattered more.

Recent engagements include featured keynote and corporate session work with Burns & McDonnell and the Puerto Rico Minority Supplier Development Council (PRMSDC) Business Opportunity Exchange. Upcoming engagements include the Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council’s (OMSDC) ConnectingOHIO conference and the NMSDC Healthcare Industry Group at the NMSDC National Conference. His work with national supplier development ecosystems focuses on helping both suppliers and corporate partners build the alignment that moves relationships from access-based to performance-based, creating measurable enterprise outcomes that strengthen the business case for supplier innovation.

Over the past two decades, Dr. Baker has advised more than 100 executive teams across healthcare systems, Fortune 500 corporations, medical device companies, and high-growth startups on innovation adoption, change management, and strategic growth. His work has been applied across corporate, entrepreneurial, healthcare, educational, and government environments — demonstrating that the alignment principles behind CFOSS™ travel well beyond any single industry or ecosystem. He has impacted more than 1,000 leaders across sales, marketing, operations, finance, and human resources. As a startup coach for the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) at Georgia Tech, he has mentored 60–80 HealthTech startups in developing and commercializing transformative technology solutions.

Dr. Baker serves as a Professor of Practice at the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute at Georgia State University and as an affiliate professor at the University of North Carolina, Morehouse College, and Mercer University. He holds a doctorate in business from Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business, an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

He is the author of Customer Adoption Reimagined: Strategies to Win Early Adopters and Drive Market Success, which applies the CFOSS™ Framework to the practical challenge of turning promising innovations into market traction.
